Anderson Silva is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist born on April 14, 1975, In Brazil.

Family Background:

He is the son of a poverty-stricken family. His father was a police officer. He has four siblings. He spent most of his childhood with his aunt and uncle.

Personal Life:

In 2011, He married his longtime girlfriend and former gymnast Dayane. They have two daughters and three sons.


He had been part of the famed Chute Boxe Academy, but later parted ways following a bitter argument overpayment.


In 1997, Anderson had started his professional fighting career in Brazil in the heavyweight category with two back-to-back wins, followed by his first loss to Luiz Azeredo in 2000.
