Chuck Norris is an American Martial Artist, Film producer, and Screenwriter born on March 10, 1940, In Oklahoma, U.S.

Family Background:

He is the son of Ray Norris and Wilma Norris. His father Who did odd jobs, Such as, Mechanic, Bus and Truck driver, and also had an alcoholic. His parents divorced when he was a teenager. He helped his mother raise his younger brothers.

Personal Life:

In 1958, He had married Dianne Holechek. He had two sons and one daughter with her. They divorced in 1988. In 1998, He married Gena O’Kelley, A former model. They had twin children in 2001.

Education:

He attended North Torrance High School. He had been a shy and average student who did not think much of himself.

Career:

He started his career in the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman in 1958. He had been sent to Osan Air Base in South Korea where he became interested in martial arts. He started training in Tang Soo Do and earned a black belt in that art. He continued working as an Air Policeman after returning to the United States at the March Air Force Base in California. In 1962, He started working for the Northrop Corporation after being discharged. He opened a chain of karate schools more than 30 schools spread over different cities during the 1960s. He had been very popular as an instructor and had several celebrity students. He also participated in various martial arts tournaments. He lost his first two tournaments to Joe Lewis and Allen Steen. By the late 1960s, He had worked on his technique and won the Professional Middleweight Karate champion title on 24 November 1968, He would defend this title five more times till 1974. He had won Karate’s Triple Crown for the most tournament wins of the year in 1969. At the behest of McQueen, He had started receiving acting classes at MGM. His first acting role in the 1977 action film Breaker! Breaker! in which he played a trucker whose friend is killed by a policeman. He had worked in the long-running action crime drama television series named Walker, Texas Ranger which ran for eight seasons from 1993 till 2001. The series had been broadcast in over 100 countries and was famous for its moral values.
