Eli Manning is an American football quarterback for the New York Giants of the NFL was born on January 3, 1981, In Louisiana.

Family Background:

He is the son of Archie Manning and Olivia Williams Manning. He is the youngest of his two siblings. 

Personal Life:

In 2008, He married Abby McGrew, his college friend. The couple has three daughters, Ava Frances, Lucy Thomas, and Caroline Olivia. 


In 2000, He enrolled in the University of Mississippi. During his senior year, He had won the Maxwell Award as the country’s best all-around player along with finishing third in the competition for the Heisman Trophy.


During the 2004 NFL draft, He was selected by the San Diego Chargers as the number one overall pick. However, as he did not wish to play for them, he was immediately traded off to the New York Giants. He had signed a six-year contract with the Giants, which had worth $45 million. In 2007, With his help, the team entered the SuperBowl XLII, Where they faced the New England Patriots. The game resulted in a victory for the Giants, and Manning was declared the game’s Most Valuable Player. He had played brilliantly during the 2010 season as well. Though with his help, the Giants managed to defeat the Washington Redskins in the last game of the season, his team failed to enter the SuperBowl. Despite starting with poor performance during the 2011 season, the Giants later made a comeback, and successfully entered the SuperBowl XLVI as well. The game resulted in a victory for the Giants.
