She is born to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby. Both are lawyers. She has four siblings. When she was five years old her parents divorced and live with her mother.

Personal Life:

She had chosen to keep her private life under wraps and is said to maintain close ties with her ‘Harry Potter’ co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint.

Education:

She had attended the Dragon School in Oxford, remaining there until 2003. She left school as a result of the busy filming plans she had been tutored for her GCSE exams for over 5 hours a day. She finally cleared her GCSE examinations the next year, earning two A’s and eight A*.

Career:

She auditioned for the role eight times, hitting all her seniors to bag the role. Interestingly, right from the audition, she had won the heart of the author herself, J.K. Rowling. She had been lastly chosen to reprise the role of the brainy, Hermione Granger for the Harry Potter franchise in 1999, which had been her first professional breakthrough.
