John Denver was an American Singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor born on December 31, 1943, In Roswell, New Mexico, U.S.

Family Background:

He was the son of Lt. Col. Henry John Deutschendorf Sr and Erma Louise Swope. His father had been a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force.

Personal Life:

In 1968, He had married Annie Martell. They had two children. Their marriage had ended after twelve years later. In 1988, He had married Cassandra Delaney, an actress from Australia. They had one daughter, Jesse Belle.


In 1969, That John Denver took his most significant career judgment and decided to quit being part of different bands. Rather, He had decided to be a solo performer and his very first album was hence produced. It had been titled ‘Rhymes & Reasons’. In 1970, Denver had published his two albums, ‘Take Me to Tomorrow’ and ‘Whose Garden Was This’. A year later his next album had become another huge hit thanks to the song ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’ and sold a million copies. During the 1970s John Denver had produced one hit after another under the direction of his manager and producer Jerry Weintraub. Some of the breakings hit such as ‘Sunshine on my Shoulders’, ‘Annie’s Song’, ‘Thank God I’m a Country Boy’, among singles. In 1974, That talented singer had also become a recognized face on television during his career and became a guest in the hugely popular ‘The Muppet Show’. After three years, He had acted in the film ‘Oh God’ and although it had not been a hit it noted that Denver had been an extremely marketable brand.

On October 12, 1997, Denver had been killed under tragic circumstances When He could not control his aircraft while trying to fly it as an experiment at ‘Pacific Grove Peninsula’ in California.
