Stephen Curry is an American Professional basketball player who presents the Golden State Warriors in NBA, born on 14 March 1988, In Akron, Ohio.

Family Background:

He is the son of Dell Curry and his wife Sonya Curry. His father is former NBA player and his mother played Volleyball at Virginia Tech. He has two siblings, brother name is Seth Curry, a professional basketball player and sister name is Sydel Curry, played a volleyball.

Personal Life:

On 30 July 2011, Curry married his college sweetheart Ayesha Alexander. The couple has two daughters Riley Elizabeth Curry and Ryan Carson Curry.


He enrolled at Charlotte Christian High School. After school, He entered into the Davidson College in November 2005.


After joining college, He had played his first collegiate game against Eastern Michigan, where he could only score 15 points in that game. Then he showed his good performance in the next game against Michigan, where he scored 32 points. In the 2007-2008 season, He gave his record-breaking performance by 122 three-pointers as a freshman in the first season. During his junior year, Curry had become Davidson’s all-time leading scorer by scoring 34 points and also scored his career-high 44 points against Oklahoma on 18 November 2008. He left his college without completing his senior year to play NBA. In 2009, He had been chosen by the Golden State Warriors as a seventh overall pick in NBA draft. Showing his shooting skill right from the beginning, where he hit a record 166 three-pointers as a rookie in the league history. During 2013 season, He recovered fully from his ankle sprain and along with teammate Klay Thompson, Curry had earned the nickname “The Splash Brothers” for their record combined three-pointers in the season. In February 2014, during the next season, He had made his first All-Star appearance for the West and had been later selected to his first All-NBA Team. He had broken his own league record for maximum three-pointers made in a season during the 2014-15 season and had also achieved the 286 three-pointers. In the next season, He had helped his team win 24 following matches, which had culminated in 73 total wins, an all-time NBA record. Curry, notwithstanding suffering an injury, led the Warriors to their second straight NBA Finals, but even his record of 27 three-pointers had made in a finals match failed to save the game for the team. During 2015-16 season, He continued to break a number of records, Including his own records, once again to take the new maximum three-pointers tally to 402. Curry had also broken numerous three-point NBA records in the 2016–17 season and excelled 300 three-pointers for the second time in NBA history, finishing with 324.
