Unai Emery who is a Spanish football manager and former player. He is the head coach of Premier League club Arsenal born on 3 November 1971, In Spain.
He is the son of Juan and Antonio Emery. His father and grandfather were former goalkeepers.
He married his longtime girlfriend Luisa Fernandez. They have one child son named Lander Emery Fernandez.
He had resumed his career mostly in the Segunda Division, accumulating totals of 215 matches and nine goals over seven seasons. At the age of 32, He retired with Lorca Deportiva CF, after one season in Segunda Division B. In 2004-05, He had suffered a serious knee injury, He had been offered the vacant manager position by the club president, and had immediately helped the club achieve promotion to the second division for the first time in its archives. Emery then moved to Almería in division two and again helped his squad overachieve: after guiding them to the first-ever promotion in 2007, the Andalusian side finished eighth in La Liga in 2007–08.
