Vijay Shekhar Sharma, who is an Indian entrepreneur and founder of Paytm born on 8 July 1973, In Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India.

He is the son of Sulom Prakash Sharma and his wife Asha Sharma. He hailed from very small town. His father was school teacher and mother, Homemaker. He has one younger brother and two elder sisters.

In the year 2005, Vijay Sharma married Mridula Sharma. The couple has one son, Vivaan Sharma.
