David Foster is Canadian Musician, record producer, composer, and songwriter born on 1st November 1949, In Canada.

Family Background:

He is the son of Maurice Foster, a maintenance yard superintendent and his wife Eleanor Foster, a Homemaker. He has one sibling Jaymes Foster.

Personal Life:

David married four times. David is the father of five biological daughters and grandfather of four granddaughters and three grandsons. In 1972, He married his first wife B. J. Cook, singer/writer. They have one daughter Amy Foster-Gillies. They divorced in 1981. In 1982, He married Rebecca Dyer. They have three daughters. they divorced in 1986. In 1991, He married his third wife Linda Thomson, songwriter/lyricist They divorced after 14 years of Union in 2005. In November 2011, He married his fourth wife Yolanda Hadid, Dutch model. They filed for divorce in late 2015 and finalized in May 2017.

Education:

In 1969, at the age of 13, he had joined the University of Washington Music program. Later he became the part of Chuck Berry’s backup band in 1966.

Career:

He joined the Skylark, a Pop group, where he had played a keyboard. In 1972, They released their self-titled debut album. “Wildflower” a song from the album became a top ten hit in 1973. In the 1980s, was a busy decade for the musical maestro. He produced two albums for the tubes, “The Completion of Backward Principal”, and “Outside Inside”.
