Shinzo Abe is Japanese politician who served as 57th Prime Minister of Japan, Born on 21 September 1954, In Tokyo, Japan.

Family Background:

He is the son of Shintaro Abe and his wife Yoko Abe. He comes from Political Family.

Personal Life:

In 1987, He married Akie Matsuzaki, who established an organic izakaya in Tokyo. The couple has no child.

Education:

Abe has begun his education at Seikei Elementary School. later he attended the Junior High School and Seikei Senior High School. After he entered in Seikei University to study political science and graduated from there.

Career:

In 1979, He had joined the Kobe steel, By and by he became an active person Liberal Democratic Party and had worked as the private secretary to the chairperson of the General Council of the party and also had as the secretary to the Secretary-General. After few years, In 1982 he left the Kobe steel and joined the politics full time. In the same year, He had becomes the assistant executive to the minister of foreign affairs. In 1999, Abe had been elected as the Director of Social Affairs, Division. From 2002-2003 Abe had held the post of the Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary. in 2002, Abe had been chosen by the government to negotiate on behalf of the families of the abductees. In 2003, abe had become the Secretary General of Liberal Democratic Party. On September 20, 2006, Abe had been elected as the President of LDP. Abe has won an election with the solid majority, at that time he was only 52 years old. Becoming a Prime Minister, Abe had continued with fiscal reforms started by Koizumi Junichiro. He had also tried to make good relationship with foreign countries and supported the country’s alliance with the United States. In July 2007, for the first time in 52 years, LDP had lost its majority in the upper house to a coalition led by the Democratic Party of Japan. On September 26, 2007, Abe gave his resignation from the post of Prime Minister. On September 26, 2012, He was re-elected as the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party by 108 to 89 votes.
