Hanks married twice in his life. In 1978, He married American actress Samantha Lewes. They have two children, Son name is Colin Hanks and daughter name is Elizabeth Hanks. In 1987, They divorced. one year later In 1988, He married Actress Rita Wilson. They have two sons, Chester Marlon Hanks and Truman Theodore.

Education:

He entered in Chabot College, in Hayward, California. After two years later, He transferred to California State University, Sacramento.

Career:

In 1979, He went New York City and made his film debut with the low budget movie “He Knows You’re Alone”. That is a horror movie. After he appeared in Television movie “Mazes and Monsters”. He performed his lead role in the ” The Mandrake” movie, which was directed by Daniel Southern. After sometimes, Hanks moved to Los Angeles. Hanks had begun to extend himself from comedic roles to dramatic roles in the movies “With Nothing in Common” – a story of a young man alienated from his father. After giving some flops and comedy films, His stature in the film industry rose. In 1988, Hanks established himself as a major Hollywood talented actor, both as a box office draw and within the industry as an actor. In 1996, Hanks made his directing debut from the film “That Thing You Do!”. Hanks gave many hit movies such as “Cast Away”, “Apollo 13”, “The Green Mile”, “The League of Their Own.”, “bug”, “Toy Story”, “Philadelphia”,  and many more. He won the Oscar for the Philadelphia movie. In this film, he played a gay lawyer role. In 2016, Hanks had endorsed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.
